We started our business in the spring of 1998 with the purchase of two suri alpacas.  We purchased two huacaya alpacas the fall of that same year and our herd has been growing ever since.  Today, Mountain Dream Alpacas is home to over 70 suri and huacaya alpacas.  

In 2003, after over 5 years of boarding our alpacas with others, we purchased our own ranch near Navasota, Texas, where we are now living our dream!  As previous boarders and now active ranchers, we have seen the business from both sides.
